Straight answers about what Mezbaan does today. Where something depends on a partner integration, we say so.
Yes. If you already have an account, sign in at app.mezbaan.net. If not, request a demo and we will show you Mezbaan for your business type, or set up a pilot at your property.
Owner-run hotels (Mezbaan Sarai), hotels with their own restaurant (Mezbaan Haveli), and standalone restaurants (Mezbaan Rasoi). All three editions are available.
Independent hotels with roughly 10 to 100 rooms and owner-run restaurants, especially in tourist towns. Mezbaan brings owners and staff onto one account, without an IT team.
Request a demo and tell us about your property. We will walk you through Mezbaan and agree the pilot terms with you.
We verify the owner’s phone and email, confirm your GSTIN, invoice series and tax settings with your accountant, add rooms, rates, menu and tables, and connect your WhatsApp number and payment gateway once they are available. Staff are trained in two sessions.
A review on day 14 looks at how far the property already runs on Mezbaan.
No. Your business type sets the edition, but the software and your data stay the same. A hotel that opens a restaurant moves from Mezbaan Sarai to Mezbaan Haveli without moving any data.
Yes. Bills and kitchen tickets keep printing on the local printer when the connection drops, and the invoice series stays unbroken and syncs when the connection returns.
Before a bill posts, Mezbaan checks the room number, the guest’s surname or phone digits, an active stay, an open folio and the credit limit. Nothing moves to the folio until all checks pass.
No. Restaurant revenue stays with the restaurant. The folio carries a transfer, not new revenue, so the owner’s reports add up.
Mezbaan sends transactional messages: booking confirmations, pre-arrival notes, payment links, bills and the nightly owner summary, from the business’s own WhatsApp number so guests see your name. The WhatsApp provider integration is not connected yet; messages start once it is. Marketing campaigns go only to guests who have given consent, with an opt-out link in every message. Meta charges template messages per message.
OTA bookings come onto the room grid through a channel-manager partner, and staff can also enter them by hand. Delivery-aggregator orders arrive through an integration partner and are tracked as their own channel. Mezbaan does not replace OTAs; it helps grow your direct bookings with a direct booking engine and keeps guest data with your business.
Mezbaan issues GST invoices, with a separate invoice for the hotel and each restaurant. Tax rules are configured per property, outlet and item, with effective dates. Rates can depend on details such as room price, so set up and confirm the rules with your chartered accountant.
Mezbaan supports it: a dynamic UPI QR closes the bill when the payment lands. It needs the payment gateway, which is not connected yet, so for now staff record the UPI reference for each payment by hand so it can be checked.
Your guest data stays with your business, not with an OTA or aggregator, and each business is an isolated tenant. Dashboards export to Excel, and accounting exports for Tally and Zoho Books are available.
Vertex Summit support can open your workspace only with your approval, for a limited scope and time, and every screen viewed is logged.
Mezbaan is designed with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection rules in mind: consent is recorded with time, place and wording; access, correction and erasure requests are tracked to their deadlines; contact details are masked for staff who do not need them and ID documents are encrypted. These are design goals, not certifications or a legal assessment, and each business remains responsible for its own compliance.
Yes, where it helps. Munshi answers questions about your own business in plain language, in English, Hindi or a mix of both. Its answers come from the same figures as your dashboards and follow each person’s role permissions. The number explainer and the nightly owner summary use fixed metric definitions and no AI. The setup assistant reads a photo of a menu or rate card into drafts, and nothing goes live until a person confirms it.
Yes. Staff can use the Hindi interface, and Munshi understands questions in English, Hindi or a mix of both.
Plans follow the size of your business: rooms, restaurant outlets and messages. We do not publish prices. Email hello@mezbaan.net or request a demo, and we will recommend a plan.
Vertex Summit. Mezbaan is a Vertex Summit product: Vertex Summit builds and runs the platform, looks after support and issues the subscription invoices.
Support tickets carry a response target of 15 minutes when billing is down.
